Hospital Project 5

Here comes the final stage of the hospital project. There is a presentation at the end of June for this.

Based on the feedback we have been given, our group made some development. There were two main problems about out last version of model. First, the salt in water can destroy the surface of silicone, which may make cells become sticky. Second, the glass bottles are not safe enough for children.

Therefore, we made new cells for the final work, and replace salt water with sugar water. I have called the company that produce this silicone, and they told me that sugar water should be fine.

The sugar at the top is not white enough, so we bought another kind.
Test told that sugar water can also float the cell.
Apart from that, we use plastic flasks instead of glass bottles by joining two flasks together, neck to neck. This picture shows one flask.

It is a shame that we couldn't get more beautiful bottles, cause the previous version looks quite aesthetically pleasing.
